Child Safety Standards
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These are the child safety standards for Streak Hero, an Android app (package
com.zuko.screenguard), and its Forum and Request a Hand chats.
Streak Hero has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualising minors, sextortion and trafficking. Any account found doing any of these is permanently banned, the content is removed and the evidence is preserved, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement where the law requires it.
What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualises a minor, or that shares, requests or links to child sexual abuse material.
- Grooming: building trust with a minor in order to exploit them, including asking a minor to keep secrets, move to another app, share photos, or meet in person.
- Sextortion: threatening to share sexual images or information to get money, images or anything else.
- Sexual talk of any kind in the Forum or in chats. This applies to everyone, at every age.
- Asking anyone for photos. The Forum and chats are text only. There is no way to post images.
- Lying about your age, in particular adults pretending to be minors.
Who can use the Forum
- The Forum is for ages 13 and up. Before creating a forum account, everyone enters their birth year on a neutral screen. If they are under 13, no forum account is created and nothing is stored. The rest of the app keeps working offline.
- The birth year is private. It is never shown to other users, and it can't be changed after sign-up except by a moderator.
- Members are placed in one of two age groups: 13–17 and 18+. Everyone can read the shared public forum. Private Request a Hand chats only ever connect two people in the same age group. A minor and an adult can never be matched in a private chat. This is enforced by the server's database rules, not just by the app.
- There are no age badges on posts or profiles, so adults can't pick out minors in the public forum.
- There are no open direct messages, friend lists, images or profile pictures. The only private chat is a time-limited Request a Hand chat.
- Ages are self-declared, and there is no ID check. We rely on the safeguards below to catch people who lie about their age.
Safeguards
- Automatic filters on every post and message. Public posts block links, phone numbers, emails, addresses, payment details and ID numbers for everyone. Social media handles are held for moderator review, and blocked outright for 13–17 members. In chats between 13–17 members, contact details of any kind are blocked. In all chats, payment details, money requests, home addresses and ID numbers are blocked.
- Safety flags. The server flags grooming-style phrases (for example "how old are you", "are you alone", "send pic", "our secret"), sexual terms, meet-up and location requests, age statements that don't match a person's age group, and self-harm language. Flagged replies on threads started by a minor are held until a moderator reviews them.
- Human review. Moderators can read all chats for safety, not only reported ones, and chats between 13–17 members are all queued for review. Every moderator view of a chat is logged.
- Rate limits and tenure. New accounts can't help others in chats, and helpers must meet streak and good-standing rules.
How to report
- In the app: tap Report on any thread, reply or user, or in any chat. The reasons include Minor safety. Reporting a chat ends it immediately and keeps the chat for moderator review. You can also Block any user.
- By email: write to goldrogermma@gmail.com with "Child safety" in the subject line. Include the user's handle and what happened, but please do not send images or copies of abusive material.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first. You can also report directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
How we respond
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and child safety reports as soon as possible. Child safety reports and safety flags go to the top of the queue.
- When we learn of CSAE, we remove the content, end any open chats, and permanently ban the account.
- We preserve the relevant records for investigation. Chats under an open report are kept for up to 90 days, instead of the normal 30, so they can be reviewed and reported. Deleting an account does not erase evidence: if a chat or post was reported or flagged, moderators keep it for up to 180 days after the account is deleted.
- We report apparent child sexual exploitation to NCMEC through the CyberTipline, as required by US law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and we cooperate with law enforcement and other authorities as the law requires.
- If an adult is found in the 13–17 group, they are banned immediately. If a minor is found in the 18+ group, they are moved to the 13–17 group, and banned if they do it again.
