Delete your Streak Hero forum account

This page explains how to delete your Streak Hero (Android app com.zuko.screenguard) forum account and the data stored on our servers.

Option 1: in the app

1. Open Streak Hero and swipe to the Forum page.
2. Open the Forum settings and tap Delete forum account.
3. Confirm. Your forum data is deleted or anonymised on the server right away, as described below.

Option 2: by email

Email goldrogermma@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my forum account" and include your forum handle. We may ask you to confirm from the app that the account is yours, so that no one can delete someone else's account. We will delete the account within 30 days of your request, usually much sooner, and reply to confirm.

What gets deleted

Deleting your forum account permanently removes:

• your forum profile and handle;
• your birth year and age group record;
• the text of all your threads and replies. Each one becomes a "[deleted]" placeholder with no author, so other members' replies under your threads stay in place (they belong to those members);
• your public streak numbers, if you had made them public;
• your helper settings, your Request a Hand requests, and the Request a Hand chats you were part of, for both people, along with their safety flags, except for chats kept as evidence (see below);
• your block list, strikes and bans, and your terms acceptance records;
• your sign-in record (a random ID, with no email or phone unless you linked one) and any push token. This is removed shortly after your forum data, normally within minutes.

What may be kept

• Evidence for safety reviews. If a Request a Hand chat or a post of yours is under a report or safety flag, or was in the last 180 days, moderators keep it so that deleting an account can't be used to erase evidence. Your handle and account are removed from it, the other person in the chat can no longer see it, and it is deleted 180 days after you delete your account.
• Reports that other members filed about you or your content, and reports you filed (without your name).
• A short entry in the moderation log that a deletion happened, plus earlier moderation log entries. They hold a random account ID, not your posts or messages.
• Records we must keep by law, for example evidence of child sexual exploitation that has been reported to NCMEC.
• Routine server logs at our service providers, which expire on their normal schedule.

Data on your phone

Your streaks, check-ins, danger zones, profile and milestones were never on our servers, so deleting your forum account doesn't affect them. To remove them, clear Streak Hero's data in Android Settings, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling does not delete your forum account. Use one of the options above first.

Only want to remove some data?

• Switch your current or best streak back to Private in Settings, and the number is removed from the server right away.
• Delete single posts from the Forum.
• Turn off "Help others" in Settings.
