Privacy Policy

This policy covers Streak Hero, an Android app (package com.zuko.screenguard). Questions: goldrogermma@gmail.com.
The short version
- Your recovery data stays on your phone. All of these features work offline and are never uploaded.
- Only the optional Forum sends data to a server. It sends only what you type or choose to share there.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or advertising trackers.
- Moderators can read Request a Hand chats for safety. Please don't share anything in a chat that you wouldn't want them to see.
Data that stays on your device
These are stored only on your phone and are never sent anywhere by Streak Hero:
- your streaks, streak history and start and end times;
- check-in answers (where, why and how), danger zones and warning settings;
- your profile name, goal and triggers;
- milestones and heroes;
- the blocker's activity and detections;
- your Forum privacy choices (the Public/Private and "Help others" switches).
If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this data is gone. We can't recover it, because we never had it.

We never collect your contacts, location, photos, advertising ID or device serial numbers.
Chats are readable by moderators
Request a Hand chats are private between you and the other person, but the Streak Hero owner and moderators can read every chat for safety, not only reported ones. The app tells you this before your first chat. Chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Every time a moderator opens a chat, it is logged. The server scans messages automatically: messages with payment details, money requests, home addresses or ID numbers are blocked and not delivered. These messages are not stored, only the type of information that was blocked. Some other messages are flagged for review.
In the 18+ group, people may share contact details such as a phone number. Once you take a conversation outside Streak Hero, we can't see it, moderate it or protect you there.
Service providers
- Supabase: hosts the forum's database, sign-in and live chat (United States).
- Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that sign-ins come from real people. Cloudflare also hosts this website.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): delivers Request a Hand push alerts. It is turned on only if you turn on helper alerts or make a request. Firebase Analytics is not used.
These providers process data on our behalf to run the service. We don't sell or share your data for advertising. We may disclose data if the law requires it, including reports of child sexual exploitation to NCMEC (see Child Safety Standards). All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
How long we keep it
- Open help requests expire after 15 minutes. A request, including its trigger category, is deleted 30 days after it closes.
- Chats close after 2 hours of inactivity (1 hour in the 13–17 group), or when either person ends them. Messages are deleted 30 days after the chat ends. A chat that is under an open report or safety flag is kept until the review is finished, for at most 90 days. If someone deletes their forum account while a chat is reported or flagged (or was in the last 180 days), that chat is kept for moderators only, without the deleted account's identity, and deleted 180 days later.
- Public streak numbers are removed as soon as you switch them back to Private.
- Your posts stay until you delete them or your forum account. When you delete a post, its text is removed from the forum right away and shows as "[deleted]" (so replies from others still make sense). Moderators can see a copy of the text for 30 days, or for up to 180 days if the post is under an open report, and then it is erased.
- Posts removed by moderators are kept, hidden, for up to 180 days as a record of the decision, and then their text is erased.
- Your forum account stays until you delete it. Deleting it removes or anonymises your forum data right away (see Delete your account).
Your choices and rights
- Use Streak Hero without the Forum. Nothing is uploaded.
- Keep your streak numbers Private (the default), or switch them back to Private at any time.
- Leave "Help others" off (the default).
- Delete your posts, or delete your whole forum account, in the app or by email.
- Ask us for a copy of your forum data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to goldrogermma@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law. We will respond within 30 days.
Teens and children
The Forum is for ages 13 and up. We don't knowingly collect any data from children under 13: the sign-up screen refuses them and stores nothing. If you think a child under 13 has a forum account, email goldrogermma@gmail.com and we will delete it. See also our Child Safety Standards.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will also ask you to accept them in the app.
